The WSSBC Ram Awards presented by Frontiersmen Gear is an opportunity to celebrate and give back to a community that gives so much to wild sheep conservation, and celebrate the history and legacy of wild sheep and sheep hunting this great province has to offer. To often the
stories and memories made in the sheep mountains vanish over time, and our goal is to acknowledge and celebrate the rams and the common hunter, not just those with the means to achieve multiple Slams.

General Rules:General Rules:
Ram awards are open to BC Residents only. All rams must have been legally taken in BC during the current license year, with a valid license, and have been compulsory inspected. A field photo with the hunter must be included.

 

The name, phone number, and email of the
applicant must accompany applications. General rules apply to all categories. Additional category rules listed below.

Oldest: All Oldest Ram entries must be accompanied by a picture of the CI sheet with sensitive information blacked out but official CI age shown.
 

Archery: All archery sheep must be taken with archery equipment and archery equipment only.
 

Youth Ram: General Rules apply, the hunter must have been no older than 16 at the time of harvest.
 

Conservation Integrity Award: Cannot be self-nominated, someone who has exemplified significant conservation efforts for wild sheep over time.
 

Youth Hunter Award: Cannot be self-nominated. Youth who show exemplary ethics, stewardship, integrity, and determination while hunting.

Youth Hunter Award: Cannot be self-nominated. Youth who show exemplary ethics, stewardship, integrity, and determination while hunting.​
