The Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia has a preferred charitable organization – Mountain Wildlife Conservation Society (MWCS). Donate today!
MWCS is a registered charity and as such they can issue donation receipts that can be used for tax credits or deductions. Donate today with your credit card or you can contact mountainwildlifeconservation@gmail..com to make payment via emt or cheque.
In addition, eligible WSSBC Life members can make a charitable donation to MWCS through our Monarch membership program.

We have partnered with the Mountain Wildlife Conservation Society (MWCS). This charitable organization’s purposes are closely aligned with WSSBC.
MWCS is a registered charity and as such they can issue donation receipts that may be used for tax deductions. Anyone seeking to make a charitable donation to the MWCS can WSSBC at kstelter@wildsheepsociety.com and we will provide you with the necessary details. You can make these donations with confidence that the money you contribute will be allocated to wild sheep conservation initiatives that are supported by the Wild Sheep Society.
The WSSBC will offer recognition through our Monarch program for anyone wishing to contribute to MWCS.
Mountain Wildlife Conservation Society’s Purposes are:

To protect the environment for the benefit of the public by reducing pollution and by cleaning up or remediating polluted water such as the Gataga River to protect the wild sheep habitat and other forms of plant and wildlife,

To advance education by conducting research to identify possible disease outbreaks amongst bighorn sheep in order to help restore their habitat, and to disseminate the results of such research to the general public,

To advance education by providing webinars and presentations on wild sheep and wild sheep habitat including issues relating to disease, habitat loss, predation and other issues that affect diminishing wildlife on the landscape to the public,

To protect the environment for the benefit of the public by conserving or restoring ecosystems and biodiversity by carrying out biodiversity and habitat restoration projects such as developing invasive plant management plans for affected areas,

To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income there from, from time to time, to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada), and
-
To carry out activities which are incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the above mentioned charitable purposes.
