Advocacy

 

We continue to see the erosion of legal firearm owner rights.  Each year we see additional bans being placed on lawfully owned firearms with no meaningful plan to address the core issue relating to gun violence.

One of the purposes of the Wild Sheep Society of BC is to unite Sportsmen and Sportswomen.  As such, we are supporting the Canadian Coalition of Firearms Rights (CCFR).  The CCFR has proven to be an advocate for us as firearm owners.

​

This year (2025), we are conducting a fundraiser where all proceeds will be allocated to the CCFR to continue their advocacy and legal battles to support law-abiding citizens' rights to utilize their firearms.

​

We have a very limited run of the 2025 Limited Edition Challenge coins that are custom-numbered and specific to 2025.  Each coin is $500 and all proceeds will go to the CCFR.  We expect that we will sell out of the coins quickly so do not hesitate to purchase.

Additionally, we have three exclusive 2025 Challenge Coins.  One will be auctioned at our 2025 Northern Fundraiser, Salute to Conservation Banquet and Life Member Breakfast.

Please note that if you do purchase a coin we will give it to you at either our Northern Fundraiser or Salute to Conservation and Mountain Hunting Expo.  If you are not attending either, we will ship it to you after our events and once the Canada Post strike is resolved.
