This letter dated April 11, 2022 signifies the continued commitment of the Ministry to develop a policy framework to affect mitigation efforts, and to support the implementation of the ‘voluntary’ actions proposed by the Ministers’ Advisory Group.
The Wild Sheep Society of BC proudly supports habitat rehabilitation work in the Kootenay Region. We have supported the East Kootenay Invasive Species Council from the beginning on this critical project that benefits Bighorn Sheep and other wildlife in the region. To date WSSBC has committed $9,889 for this project with an additional $20,000 allocated to support EKISC on a similar project in the Wigwam Flats area.
